Jeff asked me the following question about a charting package:
My question is the following: it appears that you have recommended Tradecision by Alyuda. Have you used this program? What is your experience? Do you know if others are using it?
I have indeed used Tradecision. It’s a handy package for a lot of different things. My specific use was for being able to plot custom indicators and run custom screens. It offers considerable flexibility in terms of data sources, which is nice.
I will state, however, that I am not currently using the package and have not been for many months. I had to make a switch to Metastock for the purposes of the reporting I needed to do for my work.
Other Tradecision users are encouraged to share their thoughts, though.
