There’s a New York Times article that’s caused some buzz among the trading bloggers today. Naturally, the psychologist himself, Brett Steenbarger, has picked up on the subject in his latest post. I’m sure you’ll find his contributions worth reading.
And of course he was ever so kind to mention my own post from earlier today – Trading Education and Trader Development – What You Need to Think About.
I have to admit, when I first heard about the NYT article I couldn’t help but think that trading addiction offers an awfully convenient defense for the rogue trader up on charges. “Your honor, I couldn’t help myself. I’m an addict.” Maybe I’m just being cynical.
