There’s a new blog covering the forex market that you should check out if foreign exchange is your thing. Actually, even if you’re not a forex trader, you might find some of the supporting information worth looking at – www.thomsonfxhub.com

Technically, the site hasn’t been launched yet. I believe that will officially happen sometime close after the start of the new year – maybe the first week of January. So while you might see some little glitches they are ironing out, it should be mostly what the site will be like when it’s up and running full speed.
The lead blogger and managing analyst for the blog is a guy who sits only about 10 or 15 feet away from me where I work. He’s a former forex dealer and has been a forex analyst for at least 10 years. He’s got loads of contacts in the industry, and obviously a gread deal of experience, which flows through in his blog posts. He’s going to be supported out of Sydney and London to provide 24-hour coverage of market new and analysis. There’s a chance that I periodically contribute some technical analysis and trading ideas as well, but that’s not been fully discussed to this point.
One of the elements of the blog that will be appealing to more than just forex traders is a very comprehensive economic calendar, with estimates. Based on questions I get and see on discussion boards posts, that’s something a lot of folks are after. I know this one is good because its got the same stuff we provide to our institutional customers.
Definitely give it a look. www.thomsonfxhub.com
