A trader looks to be in and out of trades and investor looks to buy and hold. But to be honest most "investors" are really traders. Part of the reason for this I suspect is that trading is seen as a dirty word. If people were more financially educated they would realize that no self-respecting trader would accept a 60% maximum drawdown whereas I know that most so called investors who buy mutual funds wouldn't even know what their risk parameters were. I agree he’s definately a trader not an investor. A trader looks to be in and out of trades and investor looks to buy and hold.

I'm also skeptical that you can swing trade on fundamental analysis alone. I would call Warren Buffet an investor.
